July 5th Parade |

It was hot, and the wait was long – 2 ½ hours before the parade start. However, the spirits were upbeat has 32 adults and children pulled 14 red radio flyer wagons. The wagons were donated by the Radio Flyer Company compliments of Terry and Ruth Uddenberg.
Either due to our enthusiasm, color coordinated t-shirts and pencils, precision marching, or due to pity of the long wait – the Glenview Parade judges awarded us first prize in the “Best Community Service Club/Church Group” award.

Out on the front lawn, members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church celebrate the graduation of Dr./Rev. Robin Brown and Barbara Kudirka on Pentecost Sunday.
Additionally, the Sunday School raised $1000 in funds and donated them to the Northfield Township Food Pantry.

On Saturday,May 15, the Sunday School kids helped the Village of Glenview "naturalize" a detention basin. The Village received a state grant to transform three detention basins to a natural habitat for birds, frogs etc. This will also reduce stormwater pollutants, reduce air pollution through reduction in mowing, etc., etc. Along with other volunteers, we planted live "plugs" of native grasses and flowers.
