Brett’s family has been active in the Holy Trinity congregation for about 15 years. “When we moved to Glenview back in 1994, and were in the process of having our first child, we visited several churches…in the area and felt the most welcomed and comfortable with the HT congregation.” The Eickenbergs have two children, Alexandre, age 14, and Danielle, age 12. Viviane actively serves as a Sunday School teacher, and is an instructor in physical fitness.
At the current time, Brett serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee, and is serving his second term on the Council. His past ministry/committee affiliations have been on Finance, Council, Outreach and Lector Coordinator. (And he never turns us down when asked to help with special projects. He looks awfully good in an apron when serving at May Madness).
Asked what is his strongest desire for HT in the year 2010, Brett replied, “to grow the HT congregation family with new families and members, build on new energy for the youth program, and to share the recent blessing of our new pastor externally for visibility within the community.”
Brett’s five-year hope for HT is to see the congregation grow by 30%.
A good man to have on Council, indeed.
